The SDGC/A is an international organization that supports governments, civil society, businesses and academic institutions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Africa. Following the signing-off of the historic agreement on sustainable development during the UN General Assembly in September 2015, African leaders decided to take quick and firm action by establishing the Center, as a home-grown African institution, championing the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in line with the principles of African Union’s 2063 Agenda.
